The Architect Stares Back

Oh my gosh, why why why are they doing road construction at freaking 8:30 AM on the weekends???? I mean, as if the constant car noises and construction noises during the week weren't enough I get woken up on the days I want to sleep in by a pile driver and a jackhammer RIGHT OUTSIDE OUR WINDOW. Agggh. I recorded a lovely sample of the noise but I don't know how to post it at the moment, so I'll figure that out and then you can all enjoy it with me.

It's been a couple weeks since I had my camera out. I missed it. Incidentally, I also miss my scanner. I keep wanting to scan sketches and maps and stuff and I can't. I guess I could take pictures of the stuff instead but it just isn't the same.

I'm thinking I'm gonna sit down and start working on Luke 15:11-32. I need to dissect it so I can come up with a video for IV large group in mmm, October? I'm not really sure. I need to figure out a good approach to the project because the temptation is to do something that's illustrative to the narrative of the passage. And illustrative=boring, folks.

Also, has anyone read "The Fountainhead"? Or any other Ayn Rand books? Wanna chat about them sometime? I find them really temptingly contradictory to Christianity and can't find anyone who's read them and thought about them in that sense so... yeah.
