Thoughts Du Jour
Although not one to make resolutions in life (realizing the inevitable failure), I have made a few this past weekend. Conferences will do that to you.
1. I'm setting my alarm to 7 am instead of 7:30. This way I'll do quiet times in the morning. Scripture is good.
2. I'm going to organize all non-class books I have sitting around waiting to be read. They will sit nice and orderly on a shelf and I WILL progress through them. I intend to space serious books with light fiction and read at least two chapters a night.
This will, of course, solve all the problems in my life.

We Met Lauren Winner!
Yay! Cat, Carole, and I drove over to Calvin College yesterday to hear Lauren Winner talk about her book, "Real Sex". Although she didn't say much that wasn't in the book it was still cool to hear her speak. And it highlighted what she apprently thinks is the most important part of her book, so that's interesting to note. Anyway, we got to have some books signed by her so we met her. Carole and Lauren are now one step closer to being friends.

Oops, sorry
Sorry to whoever read my blog and thought that maybe that last post was directed at them. Believe me, if it's directed at you, you know. I've talked to you about it before and fairly recently.
