The Weekend of Substance Abuse

Ok, it's not as bad as it sounds. Yes, I was drunk for the first time on Saturday (which was a lot of fun) and some of the members of 2nd Strauss might've smoked a hookah at Rendezvous (which was also a lot of fun) and I think I have a caffeine habit, but is that really out of the ordinary? Items 1 and 2 are for sure. The caffeine thing is typical though. Saturday night was great. I didn't get drunk because I was depressed or stressed or awkward or anything stereotypical like that. It was just a laid back night watching a movie and having fun with my art school buddies. The hookah was a goodbye to Gabe, who's heading back to Cinci. It was pretty funny to sit around and blow smoke out of our noses. All in all, it was a nice weekend and a good break from studying.

I Return

It's kind of hard to keep a blog when you've never gotten a single comment on a post. Maybe this has something to do with the fact that I haven't informed anyone of its existence, hmmm... Yep that's probably it. I just got back from Spring Break a couple days ago. I went to New York City (aka Newark, New Jersey) with University Reformed Church. It was a really great week. We helped out Trinity Reformed Church by insulating their 130 year old building and worked in a soup kitchen one morning. I had a lot of time to think and pray, which was welcome. There's a really annoying noise in my room right now so I think I'll post funny stuff later; right now I need to escape.
